Work-Life Balance in Home Healt

I love helping people, but I can't do these hospital rotations anymore. I’m thinking about moving to home health. Does CarePoint offer real flexibility, or is 'flexible' just code for 'on-call 24/7'?

I totally get that feeling—I was burned out on hospital rotations too, and switching to home health was a big relief. From my experience, CarePoint’s “flexibility” felt more real than just a buzzword. I was able to choose shifts that actually fit my schedule, and I wasn’t stuck being on-call 24/7.

Of course, it’s still caregiving, so occasional last-minute changes can happen if a client needs coverage. But overall, it felt way more manageable than hospital work.

If you’re curious, you can see their open roles for hiring caregivers. For me, the trade-off was worth it—less chaos, more control.
