You may be able to transfer in outside courses to satisfy your 30 hours of Couples Therapy for the CSCT. Check out your past training here to see what’s eligible. A selection of consistent, rigorous coursework can be accepted as transfer credits for two requirement areas:
Couples Therapy requirement:
• Imago Relationship Therapy (Level 2 and above)
• John and Julie Gottman / Gottman Institute (Level 2 and above)
• Certified Integrative Sex and Couples Informed Professional CSTIP (PESI – 18 hrs)
• Courses taught by Dr. Tammy Nelson through PESI
Have you taken courses that might apply to your track?
ISTI believes in supporting your path to certification and allows up to 30 CEs/hours of transfer hours. We maintain the highest expectations for accepted coursework, and as such not all courses will transfer.
Contact us directly for a review of your transcript to determine full or partial credit for your courses. Any credits will be applied after you purchase your track.
AASECT Transferrable Coursework
AASECT sponsored or approved CE credit courses will be accepted to fulfill content required for AASECT certification. All other professional CE credit courses and/or trainings will count for one half (1/2) of full AASECT sponsored or approved courses/trainings.
