This class will discuss treatment uses of Hallucinogens and Clinical Impact of MDMA, Ketamine, Psilocybin, LSD and Marijuana and will review the potential benefits for sexual and relational dysfunction – We will review the most recent research and information on current Clinical Trials along with the FDA Approval of medicines previously Schedule 1 Substances, now in use for a wide range of mental health challenges. We will discuss the potential for benefit, and therapeutic use with sexual issues and will caution against over-enthusiastic commercial use as rapid expansion in this field is measured against a lack of evidence for longitudinal results. The course will help clinicians of all levels understand the potential use and efficacy of these medicines and current clinical models of treatment.
