(3 CE) Imago and Sex Therapy

This course, led by Tammy Nelson, Ph.D., will combine the theory of Imago Relationship therapy and sex therapy interventions to provide positive treatment outcomes with couples in relationship treatment with conflicts around intimacy and communication breaches. Learn theory of Imago Relationship Imago therapy and at least one interventions to provide positive treatment outcomes with couples in relationship treatment. 2. Understand how conflicts around intimacy and communication effect long term relationship satisfaction and how in depth interventions can create positive treatment outcomes. 3. Understand the how the interactive dialogue and reflective model can work with relationship therapy to heal sexual dysfunction including desire issues, particularly desire conflicts, sexless and low sex partnerships. 4. Practice the dialogical model and discuss the theory as it relates to a sex therapy context. Recorded September 2021. *AASECT identifies (*) CKAs H as "time-sensitive".
